This model is unique in it’s design with 4 feet below ground and 2 feet above ground. Dirt is then mounded over it. It offers protection comparable to a Below Ground shelter. This unit does have a steeper set of steps to enter the unit. The exterior that is covered over with dirt is coated with tar mastic, the exterior which is above ground is painted with commercial paint. The interior is painted and has carpeted floors.

We recommend trying to place this unit close to your home since many are injured while trying to reach the safety of a storm shelter if it is placed a distance away from the home.
Since this unit is smaller, we can offer it at a more economical price. We have 2 prices if you only want the dirt from the install used and plan to landscape afterwards or if you want additional dirt brought in to create a more mounded hill.
