STEEL PORCH SAFE This is an excellent choice for mobile homes. With exception of the door, it is built in the same design as our Safe Room, which has been tested for 250 mph wind force. Top part (about 2'6") is painted with commercial paint, and bottom part, (about 4') ,which will be underground, is painted with tar mastic for protection of the steel. This is adjusted according to the height to your home entrance door. We bring it out, call your local concrete plant, dig the hole, and install it in the concrete. The concrete gives more protection for the steel, gives you added protection, and keeps it from floating out.
